“Be More Clinical and Aggressive”: Joginder Narwal Reveals Advice Behind Dabang Delhi’s Comeback Win

Jaipur: Dabang Delhi K.C. extended their winning streak to six matches with a gritty 33-29 win over Telugu Titans at the SMS Indoor Stadium on Wednesday in PKL Season 12.

Head coach Joginder Narwal revealed the pep talk that inspired his team’s turnaround.

“In the first half, Neeraj fell to a couple of catches. So, I told him to be more clinical and aggressive while raiding, otherwise we’d lose the match. After that, he got us three points in one raid, and that lifted the entire team’s spirits,” Narwal said after the match.

Delhi trailed by five points at half-time before Fazel Atrachali and Saurabh Nandal produced High Fives, while the raiding trio of Neeraj, Ajinkya, and Akshit swung momentum back in their favour.

Reflecting on the tense finish, Atrachali said:

“It was the last three seconds of the game and Akshit was still there, so we were nervous. But that’s the beauty of kabaddi — the excitement never ends. The way young players like Akshit step up shows how strong this Delhi team is.”
