Marc Guehi, the in-demand Crystal Palace centre-back, reportedly has his sights set on Real Madrid as his next career move, according to a recent report by Florian Plettenberg (h/t Madrid Zone).
Real Madrid are on the lookout for a new centre-back next summer, with top names like Ibrahima Konate and Dayot Upamecano already on their radar. However, Guehi has emerged as a standout target, attracting interest from several elite European clubs, including Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
Despite the competition, Guehi’s priority is clear. The 25-year-old defender has actively pushed his agent to initiate talks with Real Madrid in recent months, signaling his desire to make the move.
“Guehi’s dream move is to join Real Madrid in the summer,” Plettenberg reported.
Currently under contract with Crystal Palace until the end of the season, Guehi has no plans to renew. His impending free-agent status makes him an attractive option for Los Blancos, who have often leveraged such opportunities in recent transfer windows.
This season, Guehi has started all seven Premier League matches for Palace, completing 90 minutes each time. He has helped his side secure three clean sheets and averages over 14 defensive actions per game, underlining his consistency and reliability at the back.
With interest mounting and his ambitions clear, a summer transfer battle is expected to heat up for the talented defender.
